Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use the Beratto Decor website and place an order.
About us
Beratto Decor sells furniture direct to UK customers.
Placing an order
An order is a contract offer, which we accept when we confirm your order or take payment. We reserve the right to decline an order — for example, if an item is unexpectedly out of stock — in which case we'll notify you and refund in full.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in GBP, inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is taken via Stripe or PayPal at the point of order. We do not store your card details.
Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can, using each manufacturer's own published specifications. Dimensions, weights and load ratings are the manufacturer's own figures and may vary slightly between production batches. Natural materials — timber, stone and leather — vary in grain, tone and figure between pieces, and that variation is a property of the material rather than a defect. Photos are for illustration. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are not affected by these terms.
Delivery
See our shipping & delivery policy for costs, timescales and how large items are delivered.
Returns and cancellation
All furniture is made to order. See our returns & refunds policy for the full detail on cancellations, returns, damaged or defective products, refunds and the warranty.
Liability
We are liable for losses you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms, or our negligence, up to the price you paid for the relevant item. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
