Its strengths
The frame is open on every side, so the chair looks light in a room and can stand in the middle of a space as well as against a wall. The cushions are deep and low, which makes it a chair to lounge in rather than perch on.
How it lives and ages
Leather softens and takes on a gentle patina where it is used most, and the cushions relax a little in the first months, as any good upholstered seat does. Polished steel keeps its shine with an occasional wipe.
