Sheepskin is the softest material in the range: warm in winter, breathable in summer, and different in every hide. Here is what sits behind the softness.

In detail
What makes Sheepskin Atelier special
What it is made of
Sheepskin Atelier pieces are upholstered in sheepskin (or, where the page says so, a faux sheepskin) over a timber frame. Each hide differs slightly in curl, tone and length of wool, which is part of its character.
Its strengths
Sheepskin is warm without being heavy, naturally breathable and pleasant to sit in at any time of year. A deep fleece also hides the small marks of everyday use.
How it lives and ages
The fleece settles with use and softens in the places you sit most. It is best kept out of strong direct sun, which can fade the tone over years.
Caring for it
Shake it out regularly and brush the fleece with a soft brush. Blot spills straight away without rubbing, and keep it away from radiators and open fires.
